This plasticizer exhibits strong solvency for various resins and is miscible with many cellulose resins, natural and synthetic rubbers, and vinyl resins. It possesses excellent film-forming properties, adhesion, and water resistance, as well as high light and heat stability.
This product can also be used as a solvent for mosquito repellent (crude oil), polyvinyl fluoride coatings, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, and DDT. When used as a plasticizer for rubber, it does not affect the vulcanization of the rubber and provides good cold resistance to the resulting products.
